Centre Commercial sits on the Rue de Marseille, distinguished by its sparse, clean aesthetic and a wide window display that sets it apart from the weathered facades of the surrounding neighborhood. Founded in two thousand ten by Sébastien Kopp and François-Ghislain Morillon, the space was created by the same duo behind the sneaker brand Veja. They chose the name as a deliberate reference to the works of philosopher Bernard Stiegler and sociologist Mike Davis to spark a conversation about the nature of consumerism.
