Accor Arena

You are approaching a structure that rises from the ground like a massive pyramid, its sloping walls covered in a distinct, continuous blanket of grass. This is the Accor Arena, a venue in the twelfth arrondissement that opened in nineteen eighty-four as the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy. Designed by architects Andrault, Parat, Prouvé, and Guvan, the building was created as a modular space capable of adapting its interior for anything from aquatic sports to large-scale musical performances.
