Elysées Biarritz

The Elysées Biarritz at twenty-two rue Quentin-Bauchart occupies a building dating to the early nineteen thirties, standing just steps from the Champs-Élysées. Behind its facade, the space continues a tradition of cinema that began on this corner in January nineteen thirty-one, when it first opened as the Elysées-Gaumont. The theater initially seated six hundred people across an orchestra, mezzanine, and balcony, joining a small group of cinemas that established this neighborhood as a hub for film on the avenue.
