The Quai de la Daurade is a one hundred eighty-two meter stretch of pavement that sits ten meters above the Garonne River. You can identify it by the long, low wall separating the street from the water and its position just north of the stone arches of the Pont-Neuf. This quay marks the transition from the city’s dense urban center to the open riverfront, running alongside the historic priory buildings and the Basilica of Notre-Dame de la Daurade.
