Jardin Albert 1er

park garden

Jardin Albert Premier is a three-hectare park defined by its large central lawn and a dense collection of palms and exotic plants sourced from as far away as China, Australia, and the Himalayas. Created in eighteen fifty-two, it connects the bustling Place Masséna to the Promenade des Anglais near the sea. The garden has carried many names over the years, including Jardin Masséna and Jardin des Plantes, but it took its current title in nineteen fourteen to honor the King of Belgium.
