The Flemings Selection Hotel Frankfurt-City sits at the Eschenheimer Tor, easily identified by the mid-century office aesthetic of its facade. The building previously served as the offices for the chemical company Bayer in the nineteen fifties. Because it is a listed structure, much of its original character remains, including a rare, functioning paternoster elevator. This moving row of open-topped cabins continuously loops between floors, making it the only one in Frankfurt still open to the public.
