Museum of World Cultures

The Museum of World Cultures occupies three adjacent nineteenth-century villas along the Schaumainkai, a stretch of the riverbank known as the Museumsufer. Unlike many institutions that began as royal cabinets of curiosities, this museum was established by Frankfurt citizens in nineteen oh four to house ethnographic collections donated by the public.
