Goobe’s Book Republic is a basement bookstore located on Church Street, marked by a quiet, unassuming entrance that hides a sprawling collection of pre-loved paperbacks. Established in two thousand nine by Ravi Menezes, the shop grew out of a personal library originally housed in the lounge of the now-retired Church Street Inn. It occupies a small, intimate space where the shelves are packed with everything from literary classics and graphic novels to a notably deep selection of science fiction.
