The marble statue of King Edward VII stands near the intersection of Queen’s Road and Cubbon Road, positioned close to a flowering frangipani tree in what is known as Queen’s Park. Unveiled in November nineteen nineteen, the monument was funded by residents of the former Bangalore Civil and Military Station. The figure depicts the monarch wearing the robes of the Order of the Garter, designed and crafted by London sculptor Leonard Jennings.
