The Ballard Bunder Gatehouse is a striking, Neo-Classical structure built of rusticated yellow stone. Its triple-arch design, which closely resembles the Green Gate nearby, was completed in nineteen twenty to serve as a commemorative portal for the Ballard Estate development. The building was designed by George Wittet, who served as the chief architect for the Bombay Port Trust.
