Horniman Circle Garden

Horniman Circle Garden is a circular public park in the Fort district of Mumbai, distinguished by a precise neoclassical ring of heritage office buildings that frame it. Originally known as Bombay Green, this space served as a primary trading ground for cotton and opium in the eighteenth century. By the eighteen-forties, the area had fallen into disrepair, once described as a dumping ground for debris and coconut shells.
