The Bhikha Behram Well is marked by a distinctive pavilion featuring stained-glass panels and ironwork, sitting amidst the busy intersection of Veer Nariman Road and Bhaurao Patil Marg near Churchgate station. Built in seventeen twenty-five, this structure was the project of a Parsi merchant named Bhikaji Behramji Panday. After he moved to Mumbai to trade, he chose to sink the well to provide fresh water to travelers in a region where most groundwater was brackish due to the nearby Arabian Sea.
