The Via Dolorosa, or Way of Suffering, is a processional route winding through the Old City of Jerusalem. It is marked by stone walls and narrow alleys, spanning approximately six hundred meters from the site of the former Antonia Fortress to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. This path is traditionally recognized as the route Jesus of Nazareth walked while carrying his cross toward his crucifixion.
