Broad Wall

The Broad Wall is a massive stone fortification, seven meters thick, that runs through the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem. It is distinguished by its sheer width, which far exceeds the size of a standard residential boundary or property line. Archaeologist Nahman Avigad uncovered this segment in the nineteen seventies, revealing a structure that stretches sixty-five meters in length and remains preserved to a height of more than three meters in several places.
