Hibiya Godzilla Square

Hibiya Godzilla Square is marked by a bronze, nine-point-eight-foot-tall statue of the monster, poised as if attacking in the middle of the city. The sculpture depicts the design from the twenty-sixteen film Shin Godzilla and rises above a pedestal meant to evoke a crashing wave. This plaza sits between the Hibiya Chanter shopping mall and the Toho Cinemas office building, a fitting location for a tribute to the studio that produced the film franchise.
