Old Main Building (Law)

The Old Main Building, known locally as the Ou Hoofgebou, sits at the corner of Victoria and Ryneveld Streets. You can identify this Neo-Classical structure by its central projecting bay, which features a prominent pediment topped by rampant lions holding the college coat of arms. The building is constructed as a double-storey courtyard complex, surrounded by gardens and enclosed by a wrought iron fence with moulded, ball-capped posts.
