Village Museum

The Village Museum is a collection of four historic houses that trace the development of Stellenbosch from a frontier settlement to a colonial town. Each building acts as a time capsule, meticulously furnished to reflect a distinct era between seventeen hundred and nine and eighteen hundred and seventy. You can identify the complex by the cluster of restored gabled homes and their period-accurate gardens located along Ryneveld Street.
