SHELTER HALL

Shelter Hall is a prominent building on the Brighton seafront, identified by its bold, red-brick façade constructed in an imperial double-English bond. Built in the eighteen eighties as a refuge for local fishermen and bathers, the original structure once featured a glass dome and a decagonal kiosk. It served the public for generations before falling into disrepair, eventually housing an amusement arcade and a gym during the twentieth century.
