The Prince Albert is a three-storey building on Trafalgar Street defined by a sprawling, colorful mural of deceased musicians covering its exterior side wall. Originally constructed as a town house in eighteen forty-eight, it was converted into a public house in eighteen sixty. The building was designed to serve the nearby Victorian railway station, and it remains a fixture of the city's independent music circuit today.
