The Pitt Club at seven A Jesus Lane is immediately recognizable by its distinct neo-classical facade, which features columns supporting a triangular pediment, appearing somewhat like a small temple set back from the street line. Originally constructed in eighteen sixty-three as a Victorian Turkish bathhouse, the building was a commercial failure and closed within a year of opening.
