Trinity Hall Cambridge

Trinity Hall is recognized by its name, which stands apart from the surrounding university landscape because it retains the title of "Hall" while its neighbors evolved into "Colleges." Founded in thirteen fifty by William Bateman, the Bishop of Norwich, it is the fifth oldest surviving college of the University of Cambridge. You can often identify the older parts of the campus by their medieval windows and arches, which remain on the back wall of the North Court and hint at the buildings' fourteenth-century origins.
