Ropes & Twines occupies a narrow shopfront at number seventy Bold Street, identifiable by a wide pair of slightly inset double doors flanked by small, angled windows. The venue, which opened in two thousand eighteen after a significant renovation of a former hearing aid shop, draws its name from the city’s maritime heritage, when rope-making was a primary industry in the days of sail.
