The Port of Liverpool Building is instantly recognizable by the massive, prominent dome that rests at its center. Rising two hundred and twenty feet above the waterfront, this Edwardian Baroque structure was the tallest building in the city when it opened in nineteen oh seven. It stands as the oldest of the trio known as the Three Graces, which define the Liverpool skyline alongside the Royal Liver and Cunard buildings.
