The Mermaid sculpture

Coralee is an eighteen-foot-long mermaid sculpture fashioned from reclaimed steel, salvaged glass, and various recycled metals. Created by Bay Area artist Dana Albany in twenty twenty-two, the figure features intricate metallic textures and reflects an emphasis on environmental sustainability. She arrived at the waterfront near the Ferry Building in September twenty twenty-five as a central addition to a citywide initiative focused on large-scale public art.
