Lloyd Lake features a singular architectural fragment on its shore: six white marble columns that form a Greek-style portico known as the Portals of the Past. Named for Reuben Hedley Lloyd, a former park commissioner, this man-made lake sits between John F. Kennedy Drive and Crossover Drive in Golden Gate Park.
