Willie McCovey Statue

The nine-foot bronze statue of Willie McCovey depicts the legendary first baseman in the middle of his signature left-handed power swing. Sculpted by William Behrends, the monument stands in China Basin Park, overlooking the section of the bay famously known as McCovey Cove. This inlet, named in his honor, is where many home runs hit by Giants players have landed over the years.
