The James Rolph Junior Playground occupies an angular, wedge-shaped plot of land where Cesar Chavez Street and Potrero Avenue intersect at the edge of the Mission District. You can identify the grounds by the expanse of two opposing baseball fields, which account for about sixty-five percent of the total area. The site also contains a recreation center, basketball courts, and tennis courts, all set within this distinct pocket of the city.
