Mission Wall Dances Mural by Josef Norris

Mission Wall Dances, also known as Something there is that doesn't love a wall, occupies the sides of a building and an adjoining wall near the intersection of Harrison and Alameda streets. This expansive, multi-faceted mural spans the surfaces of a structure once associated with a site of local loss. Completed in September two thousand two, the work features imagery of Aztec dancers performing a blessing and a central depiction of a Victorian building, referencing the architecture that formerly occupied this specific plot of land.
