The Rafael González House is a single-story adobe structure with white lime-plastered walls and a low-slung, U-shaped footprint. You can identify it by its two-foot-thick walls and the wooden verandas that shelter its long sides. Positioned on elevated ground between East Canon Perdido and East De La Guerra streets, the house is tucked behind garden walls that separate it from the sidewalk.
