27th & Welton Station

The 27th & Welton light rail station is marked by two simple, side-loading platforms that sit along a single stretch of track. Opened on December 19, 1995, over a year after the rest of the Central Corridor line, the station was added following direct requests from the neighborhood. It is one of the few places in the city’s light rail network where tracks operate as a single line, and it lacks the standard amenities or large shelters found at more heavily traveled hubs.
