Capella Tower is identifiable by the illuminated semicircle that crowns its roof. This distinctive feature, which serves as a screen for mechanical equipment, has earned the building the nickname the Halo Building. Completed in nineteen ninety-two, the structure combines a fifty-six-story tower with a twenty-story mid-rise, connected by an atrium that integrates into the Minneapolis skyway system.
