The 6th Street & Avenue B Community Garden occupies a seventeen-thousand-square-foot corner lot that was once the site of six demolished tenements. You can recognize the garden by the fence surrounding its perimeter, which was designed by members and features metal cutouts of the many hands that helped build and clear the space.
