Denino’s Greenwich Village at ninety-three MacDougal Street is defined by its deep, narrow interior, where dark wood tables and vintage photographs line the walls. This location is an outpost of a Staten Island institution that dates back to nineteen thirty-seven. While the original site began as a tavern, Carlo Denino changed the course of the business in nineteen fifty-one by introducing his thin-crust pizza, a recipe that eventually earned the family acclaim across the city.
