Cannery Hall

Cannery Hall is a massive brick structure in Nashville’s Station District defined by its thick, exposed masonry walls. Originally constructed in eighteen eighty-three, the building began its life as a flour mill for Liberty Mills. By the nineteen thirties, the site served as a coffee mill before the Dale Food Company acquired the property in nineteen fifty-seven. The company processed jams, jellies, mustard, and peanut butter on-site, eventually opening a restaurant called The Cannery in the early nineteen seventies.
