Cummins Station is a long, rectangular four-story structure defined by its heavy masonry exterior and rows of windows with decorative flared arches. Built in nineteen oh six, the building spans five hundred feet along the railroad tracks near Union Station. It was commissioned by William J. Cummins to serve as a massive wholesale warehouse, and upon completion in nineteen oh seven, it held the title of the largest reinforced concrete terminal building in the world.
