Twenty-five Martin Place is an octagonal skyscraper defined by its stark white concrete structure and tapered load-bearing columns. When it opened in nineteen seventy-eight, it stood as the tallest building in the Southern Hemisphere and one of the world's tallest reinforced concrete towers. Architect Harry Seidler designed the site as a city within a city, incorporating a central public plaza that connects the surrounding streets.
