Darling Square is identified by a circular, six-story building known as The Exchange, which is wrapped in twenty kilometers of spiraling, pale Accoya timber strips. This modern precinct occupies the site where the Sydney Entertainment Centre and its associated car park once stood. Following the removal of those structures, the area was redeveloped into a dense, pedestrian-focused neighborhood of residential towers, retail laneways, and public squares.
