The Servitenkirche hl. Josef is recognizable for the tall, green-capped tower that rises above its long, simple building along Maria-Theresien-Straße. Founded in the early seventeenth century, the church remains a physical link to the Habsburg era and the pious legacy of Anna Caterina Gonzaga of Mantua, who endowed the monastery here in sixteen fourteen.
