The Glockengießerei Grassmayr, or Grassmayr Bell Foundry, is distinguished by its status as the oldest family-run business in Austria, with a history of bell founding that dates back to fifteen ninety-nine. Located on Leopoldstraße in Innsbruck, this active foundry operates alongside a museum dedicated to the craft. A notable feature of the site is its casting pit, which reaches six meters into the ground and allows for the creation of bells weighing up to thirty-seven tons.
