Wiltener Platzl

The Wiltener Platzl is a small, pedestrian-friendly square in the Wilten district of Innsbruck, characterized by its bright, light-colored granite surface and the surrounding historical Tyrolean façades. Once a thoroughfare for traffic, the square was redesigned between two thousand nine and two thousand ten to function as a central gathering point for the neighborhood. It is lined with independent cafés, small restaurants, and shops, eschewing the large retail chains found in the city center.
