The Confluence Historic Site and Parkland sits on a forty-acre expanse where the Bow and Elbow rivers meet. This meeting point, marked by sweeping riverside views, has served as a gathering place for Indigenous peoples for thousands of years. In eighteen seventy-five, the North-West Mounted Police arrived to establish a fort here, an event that became the starting point for the city of Calgary.
