STACKT market

You can pick out the STACKT market by the dense, industrial rhythm of roughly one hundred and thirty shipping containers stacked two storeys high. Painted in dark, uniform colors and modified with glass fronts, these structures form a zig-zagging, modular complex that contrasts with the glass condo towers rising around it. Located at the corner of Front and Bathurst Streets, the site covers over two acres of what was once an iron-smelting plant and, later, a long-underused parking lot.
