Cirkelbroen

Cirkelbroen stands out for its five staggered, circular platforms, each topped with a mast and connected by thin steel cables. This bridge crosses the mouth of the Christianshavn Canal, linking Applebys Plads to the south with Christiansbro to the north. Designed by the Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson and opened in August twenty-fifteen, the structure draws visual inspiration from the sailing yachts that once dominated this harbor.
