Regensen

Regensen is identified by its long, red brick walls and the arcades that line the street across from the Round Tower. This site, officially named Collegium Domus Regiæ, has functioned as a residential college for students since it was inaugurated by King Christian the Fourth in sixteen twenty-three. It was built to support one hundred talented students by providing them with a place to live, a tradition that continues to this day for residents from the University of Copenhagen and the Technical University of Denmark.
