Stelling House, located on the corner of Gammeltorv, is defined by its facade of pale green ceramic tiles and steel plates. Completed in nineteen thirty-seven, this six-story structure was designed by the architect Arne Jacobsen to house a paint and art supply retailer. While it features a reinforced concrete frame and modern lines, the building’s proportions intentionally align with the cornices and heights of its older neighbors.
