The Jardin Marielle Franco is a long, narrow public park built across the rooftop of a hotel that overlooks the railway tracks between the Gare du Nord and the Gare de l’Est. You can find it spanning three successive terraces that are connected by footbridges, offering an elevated path that reaches above the busy transit lines below. Inaugurated in the summer of two thousand nineteen, the garden covers twenty-six hundred square meters and includes sixty-eight trees, many of which are fruit-bearing.
