The Jardin Anna Marly is defined by its elevated position as a series of hanging gardens built directly over the concrete slab of the Paris ring road. This green space, which opened in two thousand thirteen, spans several thousand square meters to bridge the divide between Paris and the neighboring communes of Malakoff and Vanves. Its design draws inspiration from the arid moors and the forests of Fontainebleau, using resilient plants like heather, gorse, and birch that thrive on the shallow soil of the structure.
