Rue Cambronne

Rue Cambronne is recognizable by its long, residential stretch of classic Haussmannian buildings, characterized by their stone facades and wrought-iron balconies. Stretching eight hundred and ten meters from the Rue de Vaugirard to the Place Cambronne, the street serves as a quiet artery in the fifteenth arrondissement. It was laid out in eighteen hundred, originally under the name Rue de l’École, and was later incorporated into the Parisian network in eighteen sixty-three following the annexation of the village of Vaugirard.
