The Pelouse de la Muette is a wide, open expanse of grass located on the edge of the Bois de Boulogne in the sixteenth arrondissement of Paris. It takes its name from the historic Château de la Muette, a royal retreat that once stood nearby, where kings of France hunted in the surrounding woods.
