Place de Clichy is a busy junction in northwestern Paris where the eighth, ninth, seventeenth, and eighteenth arrondissements meet. You can identify the square by the prominent bronze monument of Marshal Bon-Adrien Jeannot de Moncey standing at its center. This figure, erected in eighteen seventy, depicts the defense of the city during the final days of the First French Empire.
